You’ve seen the smokers online – now it’s time to see them in action and taste the smoke! We provide demonstrations for all requirements across our entire range of smokers and grills. But what will happen when you visit Commercial BBQ Smokers?
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our receptionist, Julie who will provide any refreshments that you need following on from your journey. Pitmaster Colin, who you will have spoken to prior to the day will give you a quick walkthrough of the what’s ahead and take you to the fully equipped demonstration kitchen. We will then proceed to go through the full operation, from the Blackwood Buddy range to the Southern Pride collection. Any questions that you have will then be answered and explained before the tasting begins!
Then it is time to begin, whether you have asked to see some baby back ribs smoked in a Blackwood Buddy or some succulent steak on one of our charcoal burning grills. This is also your opportunity to get up close with the smokers and grills in action. Here you will be taken through the full operation – from setting the machine up and putting on the timer to loading it with wood chips. Once you’re all clued up on operations, it is time to savour the true authentic flavours that our products produce.
You will be provided with plates and cutlery as well as a selection of our sauces to try out. This will be a thorough experience showing the versatility of our machines in being able to cook a variety of tasty foods (meat, fish, vegetables). At this time Colin will provide information on the different rubs, woods and sauces that we offer and the valuable difference that they make to enhance flavour. There will be some food that has been prepared for several hours in advance to explain the benefits of low and slow smoking, as well as some cooked during the demonstration. Each item that you taste will be explained in detail from recommendations on which cut to use, to what temperature and for how long. This information will also be readily available in our Blackwood brochure, which will be provided on the day.
Once you are all smoked out, you will have the opportunity to sit down in our showroom and ask for any further information. This is where you will be able to put in orders for your very own equipment, discuss payment options or take details whilst you think it over. We are a one-stop shop for all of your Commercial BBQ needs, we can provide all training, menu development and supply any woods, rubs and sauces needed to get your business smokin’. We are happy to help with any enquiries, even after you leave the demonstration we are always on hand to make sure you have everything you need.
